Dear WPCR Community,

WPCR unequivocally affirms that Black lives matter. We are outraged and deeply saddened by the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and other Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) who have been victims of state-sponsored violence and murder. We condemn these acts of racial terrorism, and recognize the long history of systemic racism that undergirds policing in this country.

We stand in solidarity with our BIPOC friends, colleagues, family members, and communities against all forms of white supremacy. Our objective in WPCR is to move from talk to action. We call upon each of us in the larger WPCR community to hold ourselves accountable for taking action in this moment. If you can amplify your action plan, now is the time to do it. If you have completed your original action plan, now is the time to commit to further action.

In the near future, we will be posting opportunities for coming together as a community to take action. We look forward to you joining us.

In solidarity,

White People Challenging Racism
