Once opened up through WPCR, there is no going back.
The workshop remains one of the most powerful influences
in my life.
WPCR made a big difference in getting me motivated to commit myself to racial justice. Now I really understand the stake white people have in getting rid of racism and
WPCR has given me the courage to speak up and advocate and educate when faced with racism. It’s just part of my identity now.
The instructors and students I met through WPCR have been very influential in
my personal growth, how I am raising my children, and in my community work.
Creating an action plan and getting feedback on it, and attention to my progress on it, was very important.
I found WPCR the source of so much valuable information. The ability to discuss topics with like-minded people was incredible. I have formed lasting friendships with some of my fellow participants.
My anti-racism work has been able to grow beyond the initial idea of my plan and allowed for me to engage in the work on multiple levels that I wouldn’t have anticipated.
I was profoundly inspired by WPCR and have continued my own racial justice journey in the years since.
WPCR established a community of people that I now know and respect for the work that they do to help lessen racism in this world and community we live in.
